Vision
The Neo Pro Cycling Pathway begins in the junior category as we feel this is the optimal starting point for any cyclist wanting to fulfil their potential of becoming a professional cyclist. Neo Pro work with junior cyclist around the world, both on the Road, Track, Time Trial, MTB and Cyclocross.
Mission
To understand each individual rider by fully utilising the human performance model and begin the process of establishing the fundamental areas needed to succeed in junior races, whilst applying a keen eye on the fatigue resistance capabilities needed for U23 racing.
Objective
By using an enhanced level of human performance modelling this helps us as coaches delve deeper into understanding how our athletes produce power but also their unique strengths and weakness. Understanding the performing athletes current physiology helps us as coaches prescribe individualised training.
This allows us to evolve training to focus on the individual and understand the training and response footprint of the athlete. Each athletes foot print is unique and it gives us the ability to.
1 - Individualise training.
2 - Quantify and view the underlying physiology of the athlete.
3 - Identify specific, relative strengths and weaknesses.
4 - Understand the dose response relationship, not only measured as power or heart rate, but as the actual adaptation of the underlying physiology.
The key to success is when the strengths of the rider meet the demands of the event. By applying an enhanced level of athlete understanding, we set them up on the correct path as they personally progress through the junior ranks and then on to Under 23.
